At OnTrack, we are constantly planning and managing each horse for our owners. Whilst the majority of day to day management is vested with each trainer, we feel its important that we play an active role in the planning and management for each horse to maximise the success and enjoyment for our owners, and the welfare of each horse under our care.

OnTrack provides you with detailed communication at all stages of your horses career. We use the latest in technology to keep you up to date. This also includes a secure Owners Portal which houses all the details on your horse and provides 24 hour secure credit card payment facilities. We use the industry leading accounting and communications platform Ardex.

All OnTrack publicly promoted syndicates are offered under Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). These are governed by detailed agreements and deeds which protect the rights of shareholders. These documents are vital in co-ownership situations and enable OnTrack to professionally manage each horse. Our Product Disclosure Statements, agreements and deeds are prepared by industry leading legal firm Sire Custodians.

OWN MULTIPLE SHARES 

Create your own stable 

OnTrack recommends that our clients spread their risk and take an interest in as many different horses as they can. For example, if you can afford to own a total of 10% in one horse, why not take 1% shares in 10 different horses. Or if you can afford to own a total of 20% in one horse, why not take 5% shares in 4 different horses. This will give you a real chance of sharing in a top class horse. We have built the OnTrack model around this philosophy and this has proven very popular with our client base. 

5% SHARES

Your name in racebook

OnTrack offers full ownership privileges through our 5% share options. Including name in racebook, raceday privileges and direct payment of prizemoney. Budget to spend around $300 per month in ongoing expenses for 5% shares. We make 80% of each horse available to 5% shareholders. Credit Card facilities also available.  

1% SHARES

Your name under syndicate 

OnTrack offers entry level racehorse ownership with 1% share units. Your name is listed under a syndicate name and prizemoney distributed monthly. Raceday privileges are subject to availability. Budget to spend around $60 per month in ongoing expenses for 1% shares. We make 20% of each new horse available to 1% shareholders. ​Credit Card facilities also available.  

EASY MONTHLY BILLING

One monthly statement for all your horses 

Ongoing monthly expenses are easy with OnTrack. We bill you each month your share of all expenses incurred by your horse on an itemised invoice/statement. After you have established your first account with Ontrack, its easy to add more horses in the future. You can have multiple horses with multiple trainers, but still receive the one easy invoice/statement each month.

A popular form of ownership is forming your own syndicate. Purchase a minimum 5% share in one of our horses and divide that share among family, friends or workmates. Ask us for more information on forming your own syndicate.  

LOW MONTHLY MANAGEMENT FEES

Pay no more than $30 per month - unlimited horses 

OnTrack charges a flat fee of $30 per month in Management Fees per owner. This fee is charged per owner regardless of how many shares you have with us. For example, if you own shares in 6 horses, you still pay a total of $30 per month in management fees to OnTrack. This makes it possible for our clients to share in many different horses, across several different stables. 

CITY OR BUST

We aim for Black Type/Metro class horses

OnTrack aims to develop all of our horses to Metropolitan standard. The reality is we need to do this to give our clients the chance to at least break even on monthly expenses. Whilst we take our horses through the grades at the Provincial and Country tracks, eventually they need to all end up being Metropolitan Class, hopefully with a view to black type racing.

LIFE AFTER RACING

The horse comes first

OnTrack acts in the best interests of each horse in respect of life after racing. We do this through the responsible and ethical management of each horse with a view to placing them in the best longer term scenario when their time on the racetrack with OnTrack concludes.
